Most state courts have come down on the side of motorists who flash headlights as a signal, arguing that it is protected speech.
Where illegal, like Washington State, it's typically flashing high beams itself that isn't legal (safety reasons or whatever), and not the sharing of information about a speed trap.

One thing that apple or the carriers need to consider is removing the data download limit. If I select to download an album from my cloud drive to my phone and it exceeds 20GB and I am on the move. I will be disappointed.

Crime doesn't pay, scumbag. Glad the guard wasn't hurt over these losers trying to smash and grab their way to to a quick payday.

The fact that the new iMacs can't address more than 3Gb of memory and are therefore operating on a 32bit logic-board makes me doubtful as to whether or not these systems are really 64-bit capable... It seems like some kind of hybrid 32/64bit system.
Will the C2D iMacs be able to run 64bit code, despite not having the 64bit address space (and being able to access over 4Gb or RAM)?

Yeh I think we all need to realize that this is a photo convention. Its almost certainly not going to hold a large interest for non-photographers or at least people who don't use photoshop or photo manipulation software.

It makes sense. iProducts are increasingly becoming ubiquitous, therefore they will become more profitable for malware developers to attack. It's not a McAfee sales pitch so much as it's stating the obvious. Same with Android.

Because Unix is an open system, security holes are found and can be easily patched in the open source community, Apple and Android both benefit from using Unix based operating systems, because Unix based systems are also responsible for holding up the fundamental infrastructure of what we call the internet.
Also, android has free anti-virus scanners available in there market. Apple may have some too. I think mcafee is just trying to sell product, but if I was them i would want to sell my product to EVERY person who had Android or iOS based phone, simply because that is a VERY large user base.

No they weren't. This has been discussed time and time again here. The word "App" has been used for decades to describe a software Application.
For example "Killer App", or more recently, "Web App" ( Java )
I still have a netscape T-shirt from the mid-to-late 90s with a Mozilla and "Internet's Killer App" on the back .. and Web App .. everyone uses that term (not just java) to describe some sort of pluggable thing into <insert web service> framework .. you could say that Jobs pioneered some of this back at NeXT with Objective C Web Objects .. but that might be a stretch if you ask Booch or the OMG

It seems to be the case, as the agreement resolves "all disputes." I'm sure there is a stipulation that Creative agrees not to pursue patent claims against Apple in the future.
Which is why the whole "Creative won" argument doesn't wash. Considering that iPod will end up generating tens of billions of dollars in future revenue for Apple (on top of the billions it's already made), settling for $100 million is not exactly a sign of Creative dealing from a position of strength.
I mean think about it. Creative is basically claiming Apple stole its goose that lays golden eggs. Apple says "No, we didn't, in fact, you stole our spinning wheel that can spin threads of gold from straw!" They both argue and threaten each other, but in the end Apple offers Creative a little piece of golden eggshell, and Creative is so happy about winning, it tells Apple, "Aww, shucks, thanks for the piece of shell, you can keep the goose!"

Creative accepted because if it didn't, the chances were quite high that it would not be in business a year from now, mainly because Zune will wipe out its ability to sell in a crowded market. (I'm not saying it will happen, or that I'm expecting it, but I'm just surprised it's so easily dismissed by people who comment daily on how Apple should enter the cell phone market, DVR arena, PDA front, etc and - for the most part - scoffed at the intro of a consumer music player...)
The big distinction I would draw is that those are consumer products, not professional-grade hardware. Apple could co-brand but what would everyone's question be? "So, who actually made it?"

Seems unfair to kill someone for robbery. Yes they're breaking the law, but only deserve a prison sentence. Do you really really think someone should be shot and killed for attempting to steal a few laptops and smash a few windows? If you do then man you have issues.
