IV need contributions to invest in the omnibus bill Lobbying efforts.. for more details look at below thread...if IV succeed you don't have to go through hassle of renewal of EAD and AP.

I am surprised to hear that you were not allowed to board from India. As I mentioned, I have no idea what the procedures are right now. You might run into an official or Airline agent who is not aware of the rules. In my case, I traveled from the US couple of times with AP/Canada PR. First time it was AA/BA and the next time it was AA/Emirates. The checking you will go through will include both immigration and airline staff. If you are transiting thru London Heathrow, you will have to get past a passport check and security screening again to get to your boarding gate. This is where the Airport staff will check your papers. The gate agent will check your papers at the boarding gate and might even issue a different boarding pass. In case you have any doubts, I suggest you take another route or get a visa. The higher cost you might pay by flying Lufthansa for example, will offset the cost of a visa. You don't want to get stranded in any case. Good Luck.

In the context of Premium processing of H1B�s, I-140, EAD�s etc can we press our demands to newly elected Dems to have I-485 premium processing by paying extra $$$ to USCIS?
"Premium GC processing" will work as follows:
Pre-processing Condition/Base Rules:
If your I-140 is approved & you have filed I-485 and your I-485 is pending for more than 575 or 600 days (whats ever USCIS website says of # days..) is mentioned against your case#.....
...THEN pay USCIS e.g. $1000 or $0000 & get your "GC" !!!
USCIS will assign temporary VISA# for such "Premium Paid GC" and when VISA# will be available that VISA# will be assigned to your " Premium Paid GC"..
Premium Paid GC - Few base Rules:
Before issuing " Premium Paid GC ", USCIS will ensure/check their existing GC process along with following additional checks:
1. Pre- adjudicated:
Your case is Pre-adjudicated, I-140 approved, file is complete & case is waiting ONLY for Visa# availability
2. Income Tax & W2�s:
Applicant pays Income Tax, files W2�s for say 3-4 years
3. EAD�s more than 3:
I 485 applicants are repeatedly applying for EAD's for more than 2 to 3 years
4. Check Legal entry in USA:
Copy of I-94 to ensure that I-485 applicant is �Legally� entered in USA

Well, I am not a fake profile. What happened to us is real. That is what the guy told us. He was basing his decision in the fact that the original company which filed for the LC was no longer in business and that they created a new company. Reality is that they only changed the company's name but they still do the same and have same employees. We believe he didn't want to ask his new partner about signing the I-140 petition. That is our guess.
Honestly, we disconnected ourselves from the whole thing, we were really depressed that after waiting for 5 years we finally got the LC approved and then we got that response. That is why I am looking for help in the forum, I really disconnected myself from the whole process and was not sure how have things changed since in terms of new immigration policies etc etc.

OK agreed , when it's a law we should abide by them.But what are the other options available for B? He can't be covered under 245(K) so this option is ruled out.He needs to forget about GC? Will it be helpful if he contacts good lawyer any hope? Or just rely on luck?
If this is a real scenario, then if I was him/her I would only give the last 3 paystubs, W2s, tax returns. If the USCIS can't guess that I have no paystubs for 185 days then I will not hand it to them on a platter. I would however answer EVERY question TRUTHFULLY on all forms completed

My information is 12 years old, but something you might want to check into. Back then Emirates would put you up in a downtown hotel if you wanted to break your journey. And you didn't have to get a Dubai visa if you were staying less than 24 hours.
We took a transit visa for a 10 hour break once while flying from JFK to Chennai. Emirates arranges for one, if you pay like $20 or so, all we did was to spend time at the gold shopping place (wallet got lighter offcourse) and got back to the airport in couple of hours. We would want to go again and probably take a longer break and stay over - the shopping is awsome, Dubai is scenic, especially the Jumairah palm and those areas.

She have the H-4 because of her husband. If he want to cancel, he can inform USCIS about the separation. The USCIS can cancel her H-4 and she will be out of status. Just like employer can cancel the H1B. If he didn't cancel, she can stay untill the validity of her I-94.

That is why they again send RFE for some people.

I need opinion on whether one can change location after labor is approved for one area.
Let�s assume one is working for company X in city A. Labor is approved (I-140 is filed) and company wants you to relocate to city B.
How does this impact GC process?
Do you have to start again?
Or one can carry PD from prior Labor?
Your inputs will be greatly appreciated. My husband and I are trying to decide the best strategy going forward since our latest fiasco with labor due to negligence on lawyer's part.

Thank you, guys! It is not clear whether Statistics is a STEM major, but I think it is reasonable that it is, since Statistics is a branh of Math. Some universities have Statistics departments and others have Statistics as a concentration in a Math graduate program.
